Abydos and Dendera

This tour begins with a drive to Abydos, the home of the Legend of Osiris. It is here that Osiris was resurrected after having been killed by his brother Seth, and allowed to continue powers as Lord of the Afterlife. The Temple of Dendera is dedicated to Hathor, goddess of joy, dance and love who was reputed to have had healing powers and the sick journeyed here to be cured.

This tour includes:-

07.30am Pick up from your Hotel/accommodation in Luxor.
Air conditioned mini bus to Abydos Temple.
Arrive 11.00am at Abydos Temple (1 hour visit)
Drive to Dendera. Lunch box on the way (about 2 hours).
Visit Dendera Temple (around 2 hours).
15.30pm Drive back to Luxor (1 hour).
16.30pm Arrive at Luxor.
Transfer to Hotel/Accommodation.
